1860 Public House Banquet Rules and Policies


  1. To book a banquet at 1860 Public House, the individual reserving the room must beat least 21 years old and present a valid driver’s license.
  2. A $500 deposit is required at the time of making the reservation in order to secure the requested date. Deposit is only refundable if cancelled more that two weeks prior to the event date. Full deposit will be applied to the bill if, and only if, all of the policy requirements are met per the rules and policies set forth by 1860 Public House in this document.
  3. There is a purchase minimum of $1,000 for all banquet events held at 1860 Public House to avoid a room rental charge. If the main banquet bill is less than $1,000, there will be a $150 room rental fee per hour in addition to the required food and beverage purchases. NOTE: Individual bar tabs do not count towards the $1,000 main banquet bill.
  4. The maximum number of people allowed to order off the menu is 40 people. There will not be any off the menu events during lunch (11am-1pm) or on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights.
  5. All parties, other than off the menu, must choose a minimum of a buffet or a bar package.
  6. There will be no separate checks offered for buffet packages. The individual making the reservation will be responsible for paying the final bill and any incidental charges.
  7. A guarantee for the number of guests is required at least 3 days prior to the event. You will be billed based on this guarantee or the final number of guests in attendance; whichever is greater. If no guarantee is given, we will consider the last number given to be the guarantee.
  8. Black linen table cloths and black linen rolled silverware will be provided for all banquets at no additional cost. Other table cloths or linens may be brought in at the expense of the event organizer or we will rent to said individual at current market costs.
  9. Decorations such as confetti or glitter WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. (This includes confetti/glitter filled balloons). Violation of this policy WILL result in loss of deposit and possible additional charges for professional clean up services.
  10. No outside food or beverages other than cake or dessert are allowed to be brought in to 1860 banquet events.
  11. No one under the age of 21 is allowed to purchase or consume alcohol. Violation of this rule WILL result in loss of deposit and the event will end immediately.
  12. No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere within or on 1860 Public House property. Violation of this policy WILL result in loss of deposit and the event will end immediately.
  13. The person in charge of the event may be held responsible for any damages made to 1860 Public House property during the event and could result in loss of deposit and further charges and/or legal actions.
  14. Final Bill will be calculated at the close of the event bases on guarantees, head counts, and deposit resolutions. Bill will be due in full at this time and is payable by cash or credit card ONLY. (There will be a 3% discount if paid in cash)
